This course provides students with the skills and background knowledge required for operation, utilization, and comprehension of the ACARS system using applicable manuals and pilot guides.

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Provide an overall understanding of ACARS principles, operations, and testing of equipment.
2. Identify system components and the functional/operational characteristics of each line replaceable unit (LRU).
3. Identify typical aircraft system interface/system architecture.
4. Perform fault isolation to a faulty LRU using built-in test diagnostics.

This course provides line maintenance personnel with training to operate and perform flight line maintenance for the Pro Line 21 Advanced avionics system. This course is designed to teach troubleshooting for line replaceable unit (LRU) replacement and maintenance. This does not include maintenance of any component inside an LRU.

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Provide an overall understanding of Pro Line 21 Advanced System Principles of operation.
2. Identify system components and the functional/operational characteristics of each line replaceable unit (LRU).
3. Identify typical aircraft system interface and system architecture.
4. Perform fault isolation to a faulty LRU using built-in maintenance diagnostics.

2. Identify system components and the functional/operational characteristics of each line replaceable unit (LRU).
3. Identify typical aircraft system interface/system architecture.
4. Perform fault isolation to a faulty LRU using built-in test diagnostics.
